I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil. My cartooning career began at the age of 8 with the creation of my first comic character, Fred Fiddle Foot, who went on to star in the comic “Fred,” published in the Austin American-Statesman from 1994-1997. During my 5 years at the University of Texas, I created the comic “Wet Feet” in 1995 for the Daily Texan, winning the College Media Advisors’ award for best comic 3 times. In 2002, my internet animated short, “The Art Collector” won 2nd prize in an animation contest for Klaspy Csupo.
I created Cool Your Jets Designs as a creative outlet for my love of design and music.
I am currently an Associate Art Director at Microsoft, helping to create new and creative interactive experiences. I live in Seattle, Washington with my (incredibly patient) wife, Erin, and our (not-so-incredibly patient) golden retriever, Tyler “Durden” Harnisch.
